Questions and answers

Is the Milwaukee M18 SAWZALL worth it at $104.95?

Yes, if you already own M18 batteries. That price at eBay as of November 4, 2026 is below the recent $129.00 to $149.00 range, and the tool itself is well regarded. Budget for a battery and blades if you have none.

Does it come with a battery or blade?

No. It is a bare tool, so no battery, charger or blade is included. You need an M18 18V pack and a reciprocating blade to use it.

How does it compare to the Fuel brushless version?

This model uses a brushed motor; the M18 Fuel version is brushless, more efficient and generally more powerful. This one is cheaper and still cuts wood and metal well, so it suits occasional to moderate use.

What can it cut?

Wood and metal, including pipe, conduit, framing lumber and demolition material. Cutting depth depends on the blade, and the adjustable shoe helps set the angle and depth.

Is it too heavy for one-handed use?

At 7.4 lbs before the battery, it is best used two-handed. The counterbalance mechanism reduces vibration, but overhead work will tire your arms faster than with a lighter saw.

When is the best time to buy?

Bare-tool prices swing with promotions. The recent low was $129.00 before this $104.95 eBay listing on November 4, 2026, so current pricing is already at the bottom of its range.

Where is the Milwaukee M18 SAWZALL Reciprocating Saw cheapest?
