Is the PACKOUT trolley set worth it?

It is worth it if you already use PACKOUT boxes or move tools daily and want one lockable rolling stack. For occasional home use, a single rolling box costs far less.

How much weight can it carry?

The set is rated to 50 lbs. That covers hand tools and a couple of cordless tools, but not a full load of heavy power tools.

The boxes carry an IP65 rating, so they resist dust and water jets. Do not submerge them or leave them in standing water.

Yes. A locking security bar secures the stacked boxes. You supply the padlock.

Will it fit my existing PACKOUT boxes?

Yes. The set is part of the PACKOUT system, so it stacks and locks with other PACKOUT cases and organizers.

When is the best time to buy?

Watch the price history around Black Friday and spring tool promotions, when Milwaukee sets are most often discounted.

Our take on the Milwaukee Packout Trolley Set (3 Piece)

The Milwaukee PACKOUT 3-Piece Trolley Set is a modular rolling tool storage kit built around the PACKOUT system: a wheeled base, a mid-size box and a top organizer that stack and lock together. It uses impact-resistant polymers with metal reinforcement, an IP65 weather seal, a locking security bar and 228 mm transport wheels, and it is rated to 50 lbs. It suits tradespeople who move tools between a van and a job site and want one stack instead of loose bags. No current price was available for this set, so check the price history before buying.
