Is the MindWare Cityscape Building Set worth it?

It suits builders who want a small, reusable city-block kit rather than a large display model. Compare its price with other 150-piece mini-scale sets before deciding.

What age is this set for?

MindWare rates it for ages 14 and up. The mini-scale pieces are small, so it is aimed at teens and adults.

Can you rebuild it into different designs?

Yes. The pieces interlock and are reusable, so the set can be taken apart and rebuilt into other street layouts.

How many pieces are in the set?

The set has over 155 pieces. That is enough for a detailed mini-scale city block but smaller than most full-size city kits.

Does it include minifigures or vehicles?

The listed contents cover the building pieces for a mini-scale street scene. Check the box contents for figures or vehicles before buying if those matter to you.

Our take on the MindWare Cityscape Building Set

The MindWare Cityscape Building Set is a 155-plus-piece model-making kit for building a mini-scale city block. Pieces interlock and can be reused, so the set can be rebuilt into different street scenes. It is rated for ages 14 and up, which puts it with adult and teen hobby builders rather than young children. It is a niche kit, so pricing is best checked against other mini-scale building sets before buying.
