Questions and answers

Is the Take-Along Piano worth it for a toddler?
It fits the 18-month to 3-year window well: chunky keys, color coding and song cards keep play simple. At $49.95 at The Baby Cubby as of November 4, 2026, it costs more than many basic toy keyboards, so the song cards and meow mode are what you pay for.
What age is it for?
MindWare lists it for 18 months and up, with a maximum age of 3. Younger toddlers can bang the keys; older kids will outgrow it quickly.
What comes in the box?
The piano and six song cards. It is sold as one item, so no batteries or stand are listed as included.
Does it have a meow mode?
Yes. Meow mode makes the keys play cat sounds instead of piano notes, which is a novelty for toddlers rather than a learning feature.
