Is the 23 oz size too big for coffee?

It holds about as much as a large soup bowl, so it suits big pours or soup more than a standard cup of coffee. If you usually drink 8 to 12 oz, a smaller mug will feel better in the hand.

Is the logo printed or etched?

The logo is laser etched into the ceramic rather than printed on top. That means it will not peel or flake off with washing.

Is it microwave and dishwasher safe?

The listing says microwave safe. For the etched logo and glaze, hand washing is the safer long-term choice.

How does it compare to a standard 14 oz Vikings mug?

It holds roughly 60% more and has a wider bowl shape for soup. The trade-off is more weight and a bigger footprint on the shelf.

When is the best time to buy?

Team mugs often dip around the holidays and after the season ends. At $23.00 at Target as of November 3, 2026, it is already near the bottom of its recent range.
