Our take on the Modern 5-Piece Counter Height Dining Set with Tempered Glass Top Pub Table and 4 Cream PU Upholstered Chairs

This is a 5-piece counter-height dining set: a 48-inch square pub table with a tempered glass insert top and four cream PU-upholstered chairs, all on an espresso rubberwood and MDF frame. The two-tone espresso-and-cream look and the slatted lower shelf under the glass are the design hooks. Chairs are rated to 300 lb each and stand 42 inches tall, so the set seats four at bar-style height. It is widely sold at BEL Furniture; check the current listing for the latest price against its recent range.

About the Modern 5-Piece Counter Height Dining Set with Tempered Glass Top Pub Table and 4 Cream PU Upholstered Chairs

Brighten your dining or entertaining space with this two-tone 5-piece counter height dining set. Anchored by a 48" square pub table with a tempered glass insert top, the design pairs a rich espresso frame with soft cream PU upholstery — a balanced light-and-dark contrast that feels equally at home in a modern loft, an open-concept kitchen, or a casual dining nook.

The table base is crafted from solid rubberwood with MDF accents and features splayed angular legs that frame a striking slatted geometric shelf below — a sculptural detail that doubles as display or storage for serveware, cookbooks, or décor. The clear glass top floats above the wood frame, opening up sightlines and keeping the silhouette light despite the dark finish.

Four matching counter-height chairs surround the table, each upholstered in warm cream PU (polyurethane leather) on both the seat and the back panel for a soft, tailored contrast against the espresso frame. The padded seats deliver everyday comfort, while the squared-off backrests and footrail stretchers provide all-day support — ideal for long dinners, weekend brunches, or working from the kitchen.
