Our take on the Modern 76 Inch Loveseat Sofa Couch for Apartment Dorm with Metal Legs

This is a 75.5-inch-wide fabric loveseat that seats two to three people, built on metal legs with a 660 lb weight rating. It targets small spaces: apartments, dorms and offices, with removable, washable cushion covers and 5.5 inches of floor clearance. The 105-degree back angle and spring-and-foam construction aim for firm, upright comfort rather than deep lounging. It ships in two boxes with the screws included, and assembly instructions are the most common complaint.

Questions and answers

Is this loveseat good for a small apartment?
Yes. At 31 x 75.5 x 35 inches it fits tight living rooms, and the 5.5-inch clearance lets a vacuum reach underneath. It seats two comfortably and three tightly.
How much weight does it hold?
The metal legs and shock-absorbing springs are rated to support up to 660 lbs. That covers two or three average adults.
Can I wash the cushion covers?
Yes. The cushion covers are removable and washable. Check the care label before washing and let them air dry to avoid shrinkage.
How hard is assembly?
All screws are included, but owners say the instructions are not clear enough. Expect to spend time matching parts and consider a second person for the frame.
Does it come in one box?
No. It ships in two boxes, so the boxes may arrive at different times. Confirm both have arrived before starting assembly.
Is the back comfortable for lounging?
The back sits at a 105-degree angle, which is upright and supportive rather than deeply reclined. It suits sitting and conversation more than long naps.
