Is the Modern Shelf worth it?

It depends on the price, and no price is listed here. Its main draw is tool-free assembly and a real plywood-and-steel build in a small footprint. Compare it with similar open shelves before deciding.

How many shelves does it actually have?

The description says 2 tiers, but the specs list 3 shelves plus 1 door and 1 drawer. Confirm the exact configuration with the seller before ordering.

Does it need finishing?

Yes. It ships unfinished, so seal, paint or stain it if you want protection from spills and wear. Unfinished wood can mark and stain easily.

How hard is assembly?

The shelves slide onto the steel frame with no screws or cam locks. Adult assembly is required and some tools are provided.

How does it compare with the Large Modern Shelf?

The Large Modern Shelf adds 4 tiers for more storage. The standard Modern Shelf is the compact option for small spaces.
