Is the Modern Witch Tarot a full 78-card deck?

Yes. It includes all 78 cards plus a hardcover guidebook, so it covers the full major and minor arcana.

Is it good for beginners?

Yes. The scenes follow the classic Rider-Waite structure, so most beginner guides and spreads apply directly.

Our take on the Modern Witch Tarot

The Modern Witch Tarot is a 78-card tarot deck with a hardcover guidebook, built on the classic Rider-Waite structure but redrawn with a modern, diverse cast of characters. The full 78-card set keeps familiar scenes and symbolism, so readers who know standard tarot can move to it without relearning spreads. It is a paper deck with a multicolor finish and comes as a compact boxed set. The best new price is $9.99 at eBay as of November 7, 2026, the lowest of the three stores listing it new.
