Our take on the ModernLuxe Queen Size Velvet Button Tufted Sleigh Platform Bed with Curved Headboard

A queen platform bed with a velvet-upholstered, button-tufted sleigh frame and a curved headboard. It skips the box spring: slats hold the mattress directly, and the frame sits 6 inches off the floor. At $217.32 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it is the lowest of the two new prices listed, so it sits at the bottom of its current range. Adult assembly is required, and the mattress is not included.

Best forShoppers who want an upholstered sleigh look on a budgetQueen-bed buyers who want to skip a box springBedrooms with a soft, traditional or glam styleRenters who want a statement frame without a high price
Pros
  • Button-tufted velvet upholstery gives a plush, hotel-style look
  • Curved sleigh headboard works as a backrest for sitting up
  • Platform design needs no box spring
  • 6-inch floor clearance leaves room for storage underneath
  • Tools included for assembly
Cons
  • Mattress sold separately
  • Adult assembly required; sleigh frames with curved rails take time to align
  • Velvet shows lint, pet hair and marks
  • Upholstered platform frames can feel less sturdy than solid wood
  • Only two stores list it new, so price comparisons are thin

Questions and answers

Is this bed worth it at $217.32?
For a queen velvet sleigh platform bed, that is a low price and the cheapest of the two new listings as of November 4, 2026. Expect to spend an evening on assembly and to buy a mattress separately.
Do I need a box spring?
No. It is a platform bed, so the mattress rests on the frame's slats. A box spring would only add height.
What mattress size fits?
A queen-size mattress. It is not included, so budget for one on top of the frame price.
How much assembly is required?
Adult assembly is required, and tools are provided. The curved sleigh rails and tufted headboard are the parts that take the most time.
How high is the frame off the floor?
The floor-to-frame height is 6 inches, which leaves space for low storage boxes under the bed.
When is it cheapest?
Upholstered beds usually dip during bedding and furniture sales events and around major holiday weekends. Check the price history before buying.
Where is the ModernLuxe Queen Size Velvet Button Tufted Sleigh Platform Bed with Curved Headboard cheapest?
At Target, for $362.99, as of our latest check.
Where can I buy the ModernLuxe Queen Size Velvet Button Tufted Sleigh Platform Bed with Curved Headboard?
