Is the Modway Rebecca headboard worth it?

At $119.24 at Home Depot as of November 3, 2026, it is a low-cost way to add an upholstered, channel-tufted look. Expect to assemble it and accept firm padding rather than a plush feel.

Does it fit both full and queen beds?

Yes. It is sold as a full/queen headboard and the listing size is full, so it spans both frame widths. Check your frame's mounting holes before buying.

Do I need a box spring with this headboard?

No. It is designed to work without a box spring and supports up to 600 lb. Your mattress and frame still determine the actual support.

How hard is assembly?

Assembly is required: legs, brackets and mounting to the frame. Most owners manage in under an hour, but two people make aligning it easier.

How do I clean the white velvet?

The cover is performance velvet polyester, so blot spills promptly with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid soaking the foam and vacuum gently to lift dust.

Upholstered headboards often dip during holiday and back-to-school sales. The current $119.24 at Home Depot is already near the low end of its recent range, so waiting may not save much.
