Are these good sunglasses for driving?

Yes. Polarized Category 3 lenses reduce glare from the road and dashboard, which is the main reason to pick them. They are too dark for night driving.

What does the brown tint mean if the lenses are smoke grey?

The listing gives brown as the tint color and smoke grey as the lens color. Treat the grey as the visible lens shade and check with the seller if the exact tint matters to you.

Will the cat-eye shape suit my face?

The frame is listed as suited to oval and triangle faces. Cat-eye shapes generally add width at the top, which balances a narrower jaw.

Is $47.95 a good price?

It is the only new price listed as of November 3, 2026, so there is nothing to compare it to. Polarized metal frames commonly sell for $40 to $80, which puts this in the lower half.

What comes in the box?

The listing does not state included accessories. Expect the sunglasses only unless the seller says otherwise, and ask about a case or cloth before ordering.

Our take on the Montana Eyewear MP55 Polarized MP55D

The Montana Eyewear MP55 is a women's cat-eye sunglass with a full-rim metal frame and polarized polycarbonate lenses. The smoke grey lenses carry Category 3 UV protection, so they suit bright daylight and driving. The brown tint on the listing refers to the lens finish, while the frame shape flatters oval and triangle faces. At $47.95 at fruugo.com as of November 3, 2026, it is the only new price on record, so there is no recent range to compare against.
