Is the Mooncool Electric Tricycle worth it?

For riders who value stability and cargo over speed, yes. If you want a light, fast commuter, a two-wheel e-bike suits better.

How fast does it go and how far on a charge?

Top assisted speed is about 15 to 20 mph depending on model and settings. Real-world range is roughly 20 to 35 miles, less if you rely on the throttle.

Can it fit through a standard doorway?

The rear track is wider than a bicycle, so measure your gate or doorway first. Many owners store it in a garage rather than a hallway.

Does it come assembled?

It ships mostly assembled, but you still fit the front wheel, handlebars, and basket. Plan on an hour or two and check the brakes before the first ride.

Prices tend to dip during spring sales and end-of-year clearance. The current best price is already near the low end of its recent range.

Our take on the Mooncool Electric Tricycle

The Mooncool Electric Tricycle is an adult three-wheel e-trike with a step-through frame, a rear basket, and a 48V motor that assists pedaling or drives on throttle. It is built for riders who want stability and cargo space rather than speed, and the orange finish makes it easy to spot. It typically sells in the $1,200 to $1,600 range, and the latest best price sits near the low end of that band.
