Our take on the Morden Fort Linen Loveseat and Sofa 2-Piece Set

The Morden Fort Linen Loveseat and Sofa 2-Piece Set is a Chesterfield-style pair in gray linen fabric, with rolled arms, button tufting and removable cushions on a wood frame. The sofa runs 82 inches long and the set is rated to hold up to 1,400 lb combined. It is a budget route to the tufted, rolled-arm look rather than a heirloom piece. As of November 4, 2026, the best new price is $966.72 at Home Depot, the only store listing it new, so there is no recent price range to compare against.

Best forBuyers furnishing a living room on a budgetAnyone who wants a matching sofa and loveseat in one orderRooms styled around classic Chesterfield or traditional decorHouseholds that need a high weight capacity
Pros
  • Two matching pieces for under $1,000 at the best price
  • Button tufting and rolled arms give a traditional look
  • Removable cushions are easier to clean and rotate
  • 1,400 lb combined weight capacity suits heavier use
  • Wood frame rather than all-metal or particleboard-only construction
Cons
  • Linen fabric wrinkles and stains more readily than woven synthetics
  • Tight back with 12-inch back height sits low and upright
  • Only one store lists it new, so price competition is thin
  • Thin review base of 10 ratings makes quality hard to judge
  • Gray linen shows little contrast; no color options listed

Questions and answers

Is the Morden Fort linen sofa set worth it?
At $966.72 at Home Depot as of November 4, 2026, it is a low-cost way to get a matching tufted sofa and loveseat. Expect budget-level cushioning and linen that needs care; it suits looks-first buyers, not daily heavy lounging.
How firm is the seating?
Owners describe it as on the firm side, and the tight back with a 12-inch back height sits upright. If you want deep sink-in comfort, plan on a topper or look elsewhere.
What are the dimensions?
The sofa is 82 inches long with a 12-inch back height; the loveseat is shorter. Measure your room and doorways before ordering, since the set ships as two pieces.
Does it hold up for heavier users?
The set is rated for 1,400 lb maximum weight. The wood frame helps, but the 3.3 rating suggests long-term durability is inconsistent.
Are the cushions removable?
Yes, the seat cushions are removable, which makes cleaning and rotating easier. The back is a tight back, so it is not loose.
When is the best time to buy?
Only Home Depot lists it new as of November 4, 2026, so discounts are unlikely to come from store competition. Watch for holiday furniture sales rather than waiting on a price drop elsewhere.
Where is the Morden Fort Linen Loveseat and Sofa 2-Piece Set cheapest?
At Home Depot, for $966.72, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Morden Fort Linen Loveseat and Sofa 2-Piece Set?
Rated 3.3 out of 5 from 10 ratings.
