Our take on the Morden Fort Haven Cloud Couch Chenille Sofa

The Morden Fort Haven is a 91-inch Lawson-style sofa in beige chenille with rounded arms, a tight back and a wood frame rated for 600 lb. Its deep, low, soft look is aimed at people who want the slouchy "cloud" feel rather than a firm, upright couch. At $726.97 at Home Depot as of November 4, 2026, it sits at the low end of what this model has sold for recently, so the current price is a fair one.

Best forLiving rooms where a deep, soft seat is the priorityHouseholds up to 600 lb total seating weightBuyers who want a large 91-inch sofa under $800Neutral, low-maintenance decor in beige chenille
Pros
  • Large 91-inch width seats three comfortably
  • Deep 33-inch seat suits lounging and napping
  • 600 lb weight capacity is generous for the class
  • Rounded Lawson arms and tight back give a clean, soft look
  • Wood frame rather than all-foam construction
  • Current $726.97 at Home Depot is near the bottom of its recent range
Cons
  • Chenille in beige shows stains and needs care
  • Tight back and soft cushions mean little back support for some sitters
  • At 91 inches long it needs a large room and wide doorways
  • No removable covers listed, so cleaning is spot-cleaning only
  • Only two stores carry it new, which limits price competition

Questions and answers

Is the Morden Fort Haven worth it at $726.97?
At $726.97 at Home Depot as of November 4, 2026, it is a reasonable buy for a 91-inch chenille sofa with a 600 lb rating. Comparable cloud-style sofas often cost more, but expect softer cushions and more upkeep than a firm fabric couch.
How does it compare with a standard Lawson sofa?
It keeps the Lawson silhouette and rounded arms but uses a deeper 33-inch seat and softer fill for a loungier feel. That trade-off means less lumbar support than a traditional Lawson with a loose back.
Will it fit through my door?
At 91 inches long and 33 inches deep, check your doorway and hallway width before ordering. Many sofas this size ship in sections or with removable legs, so confirm the delivery method at checkout.
What is the weight limit?
The frame is rated for 600 lb total across the sofa. That is above average for this price range and suits two to three average adults.
How do I clean beige chenille?
Spot-clean with a mild upholstery cleaner and blot rather than rub. There are no removable covers listed, so heavy stains are best handled by a professional.
When is it cheapest?
Sofa prices typically dip during major holiday sales and long weekends. Track the price history here and compare the two stores that stock it before buying.
Where is the Morden Fort Haven Cloud Couch Chenille Sofa cheapest?
At Home Depot, for $726.97, 32% off, as of our latest check.
Where can I buy the Morden Fort Haven Cloud Couch Chenille Sofa?
2 stores we checked sell it, including Home Depot, eBay.
