Our take on the Motorola Moto G Power 2021 Unlocked Smartphone

The Moto G Power 2021 is an entry-level Android phone built around a 6.6-inch 720p display and a 5,000 mAh battery that Motorola claimed lasts up to three days. It pairs a 48 MP triple camera with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage, expandable via microSD, plus a rear fingerprint reader and water-repellent coating. At $53 at Walmart as of November 3, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent range, well below its original launch price. It is a 4G phone, so it is a budget pick rather than a long-term upgrade.

Questions and answers

Is the Moto G Power 2021 worth buying at $53?
At $53 it is a cheap way to get a large screen and long battery life. Expect slow performance and a soft 720p display, so it suits basic use, not gaming.

The 5,000 mAh battery is the phone's strongest feature and typically lasts a full day or more of moderate use. Charging is slow at 10W.
Can I add more storage?

What comes in the box?
