Our take on the Mr. Coffee Prima Latte Luxe Espresso Maker

The Mr. Coffee Prima Latte Luxe is an all-in-one countertop espresso maker with a built-in milk frother for lattes and cappuccinos. It uses a 15-bar pump and works with ground coffee or ESE pods, so you skip a separate grinder and frother. The best new price is $127.48 at ShopSimon as of November 6, 2026, the low end of what it has sold for recently.

Best forLatte and cappuccino drinkers who want one machineSmall kitchens with limited counter spaceBeginners moving up from a drip brewerBudget shoppers who want milk frothing built in
Pros
  • Built-in milk frother makes lattes and cappuccinos without a separate pitcher
  • 15-bar pump produces real espresso pressure
  • Accepts ground coffee and ESE pods
  • Compact footprint for a one-piece espresso and frothing setup
  • Simple controls suit first-time espresso users
Cons
  • Milk frother and brew path need regular cleaning to avoid buildup
  • Not a true prosumer machine; no PID temperature control
  • Single boiler means waiting between brewing and steaming
  • Grinder not included, so grounds must be bought or ground separately

Questions and answers

Is the Mr. Coffee Prima Latte Luxe worth it?
For the money, yes, if you want espresso and milk frothing in one machine. It is not a prosumer machine, but at $127.48 at ShopSimon as of November 6, 2026 it costs less than most espresso makers plus a separate frother.
Does it use pods or ground coffee?
Both. It takes ground coffee in the portafilter and ESE-style pods, so you are not locked into one format.
Do I need a grinder?
No grinder is included. You can use pre-ground espresso coffee or ESE pods, or buy a burr grinder separately for fresher shots.
How does it compare with the regular Prima Latte?
The Luxe is the higher trim of the Prima Latte line, with a gray finish and the same brew-and-froth approach. Check the current price gap before choosing; the core latte workflow is similar.
When is the price lowest?
Espresso makers like this tend to dip during holiday sales and back-to-school promotions. The current $127.48 at ShopSimon as of November 6, 2026 is already near the low end of its recent range.
Where is the Mr. Coffee Prima Latte Luxe Espresso Maker cheapest?
At ShopSimon, for $127.48, 64% off, as of our latest check.
Where can I buy the Mr. Coffee Prima Latte Luxe Espresso Maker?
