Is the MSI Stealth 18 AI worth it?

It is worth it if you want an 18-inch UHD+ Mini LED screen and full performance in a relatively thin chassis. If you mostly play at 1080p or 1440p, a smaller or cheaper model will do the same job.

How does it compare with the previous Stealth 18?

The AI model moves to the newer CPU and GPU generation and keeps the 18-inch UHD+ Mini LED panel. Expect better performance per watt and updated connectivity rather than a redesign.

How is the battery life?

A UHD+ Mini LED panel at 120Hz draws a lot of power, so expect short unplugged runtimes when gaming. Light office use with the refresh rate lowered stretches it further.

Does it have Ethernet and HDMI?

Yes. It includes HDMI and an RJ45 LAN port, so you can connect a monitor and wired network without adapters.

You get the laptop and its power adapter. A mouse and headset are not included.

When is the best time to buy it?

Prices on high-end gaming laptops tend to dip during major sales events and when a new generation launches. Check the price history before buying.

Our take on the MSI Stealth 18 AI 18" 120Hz UHD+ Mini LED Ultra Thin and Light Gaming Laptop

The MSI Stealth 18 AI is an 18-inch gaming laptop built around a 120Hz UHD+ Mini LED display, aimed at players who want a big, sharp screen in a chassis that stays thin and light for its size. It pairs a high-end CPU and GPU with SSD storage and a full set of ports, including HDMI and RJ45 LAN, which most slim gaming laptops drop. Expect desktop-class performance and a premium price; check the current listing against its recent range before buying.
