Our take on the Nature Power 120 LED Solar Motion Security Light

The Nature Power 120 LED Solar Motion Security Light is a cordless outdoor light that runs entirely on a solar panel, so it needs no wiring or outlet. It puts out 800 lumens of white light from 120 LEDs, with a 120-degree motion sensor that reaches about 40 feet and a dusk-to-dawn mode. The best new price is $79.99 at Country Home Products as of November 4, 2026, with 5 stores listing it new. That price sits at the top of what this light has sold for recently, so it is not a standout deal.

Questions and answers

Is the Nature Power 120 LED light worth it?
It makes sense where running wire is costly or impossible, like a shed or back fence. If you have power nearby, a wired floodlight gives more light for less money.
How much light does it actually give off?
It is rated at 800 lumens from 120 LEDs, which is enough to light a path, gate or small driveway. It is not bright enough to flood a large yard.
How long does it run on a charge?
Runtime depends on sun exposure and the internal battery. Expect motion-triggered bursts through the night after a full sunny day, and shorter runs after cloudy days.
Does the solar panel need direct sun?
Yes. The panel needs several hours of direct sun to keep the battery charged. Shaded mounting spots lead to weak or short-lived light.
What's in the box?
You get the light head with the solar panel, mounting hardware and instructions. No wiring or separate charger is needed.
When is it cheapest?
The best new price is $79.99 at Country Home Products as of November 4, 2026. Solar security lights often drop around spring and holiday sales, so compare across the 5 stores listing it.
