Our take on the Nayoroom 100% Cotton Gingham Duvet Cover Queen Set

The Nayoroom Gingham Duvet Cover Queen Set is a three-piece set: one queen duvet cover and two pillow shams in 100% cotton, 220 gsm, woven in a percale weave. The gingham check gives it a classic, casual look that suits farmhouse, cottage and traditional bedrooms. At 2.6 lb for the set, the fabric is light and breathable rather than heavy or crisp like high-thread-count sateen. It is a budget-friendly cotton set for shoppers who want natural fiber without paying premium bedding prices.

Questions and answers

Is this duvet cover actually 100% cotton?
Yes. The set is listed as 100% cotton at 220 gsm in a percale weave. That means it breathes better than microfiber or poly-cotton blends, but it will wrinkle more.
Does it come with a duvet insert?
No. The three pieces are one duvet cover and two pillow shams. You need to buy a queen duvet insert separately.
Will a queen insert fit this cover?
It should fit a standard queen duvet insert, but check the cover's listed dimensions against your insert before buying. Thick or oversized inserts can bunch inside a snug cover.
Is percale good for hot sleepers?
Yes. Percale is a plain, tight weave that feels crisp and breathes well, which suits warm sleepers and year-round use. It is less smooth than sateen.
How should I wash it?
Machine wash cold with like colors and tumble dry low. Skip fabric softener, which coats cotton fibers and reduces breathability, and remove it from the dryer promptly to limit wrinkles.
Is it worth it compared with other cotton duvet sets?
At a budget price, it is a fair entry into real cotton bedding. If you want a softer hand or a smoother sateen finish, expect to pay more from brands like Brooklinen or Parachute.
What do buyers say about the Nayoroom 100% Cotton Gingham Duvet Cover Queen Set?
Rated 4.1 out of 5 from 61 ratings.
