NDS 9P08 PVC Downspout Adapter

The NDS 9P08 PVC Downspout Adapter converts a 2 in. x 3 in. rectangular rain gutter downspout to a 4 in. DWV/Schedule 40 (SCH40) circular hub. Made from durable PVC, this adapter provides a secure transition that directs roof runoff into standard 4 in. drain and DWV piping systems for reliable residential and light-commercial performance.

• Constructed of rigid PVC for solvent-weld connections to Schedule 40 DWV pipe.

• Specifically designed to connect 2" x 3" downspouts to 4" DWV/SCH40 hub openings.

• Meets applicable ASTM standards and is intended for non-pressurized drainage applications (maximum working pressure 5 psi).

• White finish blends with common gutter systems and resists typical outdoor exposure.

• Simple installation: attach to downspout, solvent-weld to 4" pipe, and follow local plumbing codes.

• Compact design saves space while providing a watertight transition for gutter runoff into underground drains.

Sold under part number 9P08, this adapter is compatible with standard NDS fittings and common DWV/SCH40 components. Use appropriate PVC primer and solvent cement for a durable joint; allow recommended cure times before testing. NDS manufactures these adapters in the USA to strict quality standards. Typical applications include residential gutter conversions, landscape drainage tie-ins, and directing roof runoff to underground storm drains. For system planning and specification, refer to NDS technical literature and local code requirements.
