Our take on the Neche 12V Ride On Bumper Car for Toddlers with Remote

The Neche 12V Ride On Bumper Car is a single-seat ride-on for kids aged 2 to 6, styled like an amusement-park bumper car with a full round anti-collision strip. It tops out at 1.9 mph with two speed settings, runs 60 to 90 minutes per charge, and carries up to 66 lbs. A parent remote lets you steer and stop it before a child is ready to drive alone, and a seatbelt is included. Its only recorded price is $109.87, so there is no recent range to compare against yet.

Questions and answers

Is the Neche bumper car worth it for a 2-year-old?
Yes, if you want a first ride-on you can control. The remote and 1.9 mph cap suit a 2-year-old, and the bumper strip protects furniture indoors.
How fast does it go and can parents control it?
Top speed is 1.9 mph across two settings. The included remote lets a parent steer and stop it, which matters before a child can drive alone.
How long does the battery last per charge?
Neche lists 60 to 90 minutes of run time. Expect the lower end outdoors on grass or with heavier riders.
What ages and weights does it fit?
It is recommended for ages 2 to 6 with a 66 lb weight limit and one seat. Most kids outgrow it by the upper end of that range.
Can it be used outdoors?
Yes, it is rated for indoor and outdoor use. It works best on flat, smooth surfaces like driveways and patios rather than grass or gravel.
When is the cheapest time to buy it?
The lowest recorded price is $109.87, seen on October 31, 2026. Holiday sales in late November and December are the usual window for ride-on discounts.
