Questions and answers

Is the NELYE desk big enough for two people?
At 71 inches wide, yes. Two people can each have roughly 35 inches of desk, which fits a laptop and monitor per person. Plan for chairs and elbow room on both sides.
How much weight can the shelves hold?
The listing does not publish a load rating. Treat the open shelf as suited to books, decor and light equipment, and keep heavy items on the desktop or lower level.
Does it come with assembly tools?
Most flat-pack desks of this type ship with the hardware and an Allen key, but you will want a screwdriver and a second person for the top. Check the box contents on arrival before starting.
Is the oak finish real wood?
The desktop is listed as wood with an oak color finish. Expect a wood-grain veneer or laminate over engineered board rather than solid oak at this size and price.
Can it be used as a standing desk?
No. It is a fixed-height desk at 30 inches, a standard seated height. Adding a desk converter is the usual way to get standing use.
