Is the Creatista Pro worth it over the Creatista Plus?

The Pro adds a larger touchscreen, dual thermojet for faster back-to-back drinks and more preset recipes. If you mostly make one drink at a time, the Plus does the same core job for less.

Does it use Vertuo pods?

No. It takes Nespresso OriginalLine capsules only, so Vertuo pods will not fit.

How fast can it make a latte?

The thermojet reaches brewing temperature in about 3 seconds, and the automatic wand steams milk in roughly 20 to 30 seconds depending on volume and temperature setting.

The machine, a stainless steel milk jug, a welcome pod set and a descaling kit. Pods beyond the sample set are not included.

Nespresso promotions and major sale events, such as Black Friday, tend to bring the deepest discounts. Watch the price history rather than buying at list.

Can I adjust milk temperature and foam?

Yes. The touchscreen lets you pick milk temperature and foam level separately for each drink.

Our take on the Nespresso Creatista Pro

The Creatista Pro is Nespresso's top-tier automatic espresso machine, built with Breville. It pairs a 19-bar pump with an automatic steam wand that textures milk to a chosen temperature and foam level, and its 4.3-inch touchscreen walks you through espresso, flat white, latte and cappuccino presets. The dual thermojet heats in about 3 seconds, so you can pull a shot and steam milk back to back. It is a large, premium-priced machine aimed at people who want cafe-style milk drinks without learning to steam by hand.
