Is the Neu Master brad nailer worth it?

For light trim, crafts and stapling, yes at its low price. For daily or hardwood work, a pneumatic or better corded gun will hold up longer.

What nails and staples does it take?

It uses 18-gauge brad nails and T50/TRA700 series staples from 5/16 inch. Check the fastener length against your material before buying.

Does it need a compressor or battery?

No. It plugs into a standard 110V outlet with its 6.5 ft cord, so there is no air hose or battery to deal with.

Can it sink nails into hardwood?

It is best on softwoods, plywood and trim. Hardwoods may leave nails proud or cause jams, so test on scrap first.

What comes in the box?

Expect the nailer, its cord and basic safety instructions. Fasteners and an extension cord are usually not included.

Corded nailers like this tend to dip during holiday sales and spring home-improvement promotions. Watch the price history rather than buying at full list.

Our take on the Neu Master Electric Brad Nailer and Staple Gun

The Neu Master Electric Brad Nailer and Staple Gun is a corded 110V tool that fires 18-gauge brad nails and T50/TRA700 series staples, aimed at light woodworking, trim and upholstery jobs. It runs off a wall outlet with a 6.5 ft cord, so there is no battery or compressor to manage. It is a low-cost entry into nail guns rather than a pro-grade tool.
