Is the Neu Master Brad Nailer worth it?

For light trim and craft work at $39.99 at Walmart as of November 3, 2026, it is a low-cost way to avoid buying a compressor. For daily or hardwood work, a pneumatic or battery nailer is the better tool.

What nails and staples does it take?

It uses 18-gauge brad nails and T50/TRA700 series staples from 5/16 inch. Check the nail length range on the tool before buying a box.

Does it need a compressor?

No. It is corded electric and plugs into a standard 110V outlet, so there is no air tank or hose.

How long is the cord?

The cord is 6.5 ft, so plan on an extension cord for most jobs.

Can it sink nails into hardwood?

It is aimed at light woodworking and soft trim. Hardwoods and long brads may not drive flush, and there is no variable power setting to compensate.
