Our take on the NexiGo 120" ALR Fresnel Projector Screen

The NexiGo 120" ALR Fresnel is a fixed ultra short throw screen built for UST laser projectors. Its 8-layer Fresnel structure rejects overhead and side light and claims 1.5x gain, so a projector sitting just below the screen can stay bright in a room with windows or lamps. It mounts on the wall or ceiling and weighs 12 kg. No current price was provided, so check the live comparison before buying.

Questions and answers

Is this screen worth it over a plain white screen?
For a UST laser projector in a room with windows or lights, yes. The Fresnel layer rejects ambient light and the 1.5 gain keeps the image bright. In a fully dark room a matte white screen costs less and looks similar.
Will it work with my regular long-throw projector?
No. It is designed for ultra short throw projectors that sit close to the wall. A long-throw projector mounted across the room will not hit the Fresnel structure at the right angle.
How far should the projector sit from the screen?
That depends on your projector's throw ratio. UST models typically need 12 to 24 inches from the lens to the screen for a 120-inch image. Check your projector's manual before mounting.
Does the 1.5 gain cause hot spots?
Fresnel screens can show brightness falloff toward the edges. The 150° viewing angle with a 50° half-gain angle means the center stays brightest. Sit within that cone for the best picture.
What is in the box?
Expect the Fresnel screen, a fixed frame with the ultra-narrow bezel, and wall or ceiling mounting hardware. Confirm the exact contents with the seller before ordering.
When is it cheapest?
No price history was provided for this screen. Compare across stores and watch for seasonal sales before buying.
