Is the Switch 2 worth it over the original Switch?

Yes if you want the larger 1080p HDR screen, smoother frame rates and 4K docked output. The original Switch still plays its own library and costs less.

Does it really output 4K?

Yes, when docked to a compatible TV and playing a game that supports 4K. Not every title runs at 4K, and some favor frame rate instead.

It depends on the game. Demanding titles at high frame rates drain it fastest; lighter games last noticeably longer.

The Switch 2 console, dock, Joy-Con 2 controllers, a carrying case, a cleaning kit and Metroid Prime 4: Beyond for Switch 2.

Are original Switch games and controllers compatible?

Most original Switch games play on the Switch 2, and many original accessories work. Check individual titles and accessories for compatibility.
