Is the Novilla 10-inch gel mattress good for side sleepers?

Yes, for lighter side sleepers. The soft-to-medium foam cushions shoulders and hips. Heavier sleepers may sink too far and want a firmer bed.

How long does it take to fully expand?

Most of the expansion happens in the first 24 hours. Give it up to 72 hours, and let it air out in a ventilated room to clear the new-foam smell.

Does the cooling gel actually keep it cool?

It helps a little compared with plain memory foam, but it is not an active cooling system. Hot sleepers should pair it with breathable sheets and a cool room.

What sizes and thicknesses does Novilla offer?

Novilla sells this gel memory foam line in Twin through King and in several thicknesses, including 8, 10 and 12 inches. Thicker versions feel slightly firmer and more supportive.

Just the mattress, rolled and vacuum-sealed. You need your own frame or foundation; a slatted base or box spring works fine.

Budget foam mattresses like this one tend to dip during major sale events and around back-to-school season. Check the price history before buying.
