What are black walnut hulls used for?

They are a traditional herbal remedy taken for intestinal cleansing and immune support. Evidence for these uses is limited, so treat it as a folk botanical rather than a proven treatment.

How many capsules should I take?

Follow the directions on the bottle label, since dosing varies by product. Check with a doctor before use, especially if you take other medication.

Can I take this if I have a nut allergy?

No. Black walnut comes from the walnut tree, so people with tree nut allergies should avoid it.

Is it safe during pregnancy?

Black walnut is generally not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Ask your doctor before taking it.
