Is the Nuloom Folklore rug worth it?

It is a reasonable pick if you want a handmade wool runner for a hallway or entry. Wool and hand tufting cost more than synthetic rugs, so weigh that against the spot-clean-only care.

New wool rugs often shed loose fibers for the first few weeks. Regular vacuuming without a beater bar helps, and shedding usually settles down.

Can it go in a bathroom or kitchen?

It is listed for indoor use, but wool and spot-clean care make it a better fit for dry hallways and living areas than wet rooms.

It is a runner measuring 2 feet 6 inches wide by 8 feet long, with a pile height of about 0.43 inches.

Spot clean spills with a mild detergent and blot dry. Avoid machine washing, and vacuum gently without a beater bar.

Wool rugs often drop during seasonal home sales and clearance events. Check the price history on this page to see when it has been lowest.

Our take on the Nuloom Folklore Wool Area Rug

The Nuloom Folklore is a handmade, hand-tufted wool runner in a farmhouse style, sized 2'6" by 8 ft. It has a medium 0.43-inch cut-and-loop pile and a cotton backing that helps keep it from sliding. Wool gives it warmth and durability for high-traffic hallways, though it is spot clean only. No current price was provided, so compare store prices before buying.
