Our take on the NYFASHION101 Crucifix Jesus on Rugged Cross Pendant with Chain Necklace

A costume-jewelry crucifix pendant on a 24-inch silver-tone rope chain, sold by NYFASHION101. The rugged, textured cross with a Jesus figure is the draw; the finish is plated, not precious metal, so it wears with sweat and humidity. The best new price is $17.99 at Amazon as of November 6, 2026, with two stores listing it new.

Questions and answers

Is this necklace real silver?
No. It is costume jewelry with a silver-tone finish, not sterling or fine silver. The maker notes the color may fade over time without care.
How long is the chain?
The chain is a 24-inch rope style, which hangs near the collarbone to upper chest on most adults.
How should I care for it?
Keep it away from chemicals and humidity, take it off before sleeping, sweating or bathing, and wipe it with a soft cloth. Store it in a closed box to limit tarnish.
Is $17.99 a good price?
It is the best new price among the two stores listing it as of November 6, 2026. For plated costume jewelry that is a typical price, not a deep discount.
Can I wear it in the shower or pool?
No. Water, soap and chlorine speed up fading and corrosion on plated jewelry. Remove it first.
