Is the Oasis Bed a king or a queen?

The Oasis Bed is sold as a king. Its frame measures 87 inches wide and 82 inches long, which is king-scale, so plan the room around those numbers rather than a queen footprint.

How tall is the headboard?

The headboard is 60 inches tall, which is taller than most standard beds and makes it the visual center of the room.

What is the frame made of?

The frame is wood in a Dockside oak finish, with cane panels woven in a cross-hatch pattern on the headboard and footboard.

Is $1,995 a good price for it?

Capital Discount Furniture lists it at $1,995 as of November 7, 2026, and it is the only new price on record. With no other stores to compare, check whether the price includes delivery and assembly before deciding.

Does it need a box spring?

The listing does not specify a mattress support system, so confirm with the store whether it takes a box spring or a slatted base before you buy a mattress.

How much floor space does it take up?

The frame is 87 inches wide and 82 inches long. Add clearance around the sides and foot for walking space, especially in smaller bedrooms.

Our take on the Oasis Bed (King)

The Oasis Bed is a wood-framed king bed with a 60-inch headboard and a matching footboard, both inset with a cross-hatch cane weave in a Dockside oak finish. The cane panels give it an airy, tropical look that stands out from solid-upholstered beds. It is a statement piece, and at $1,995 at Capital Discount Furniture as of November 7, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare against.
