Is the Olight Marauder 2 worth $299.99?

If you need both a wide flood and a long-throw beam in one rugged handheld light, it earns its price. If you only need a bright general-purpose light, cheaper single-beam options do most of the job.

How does it compare with the original Marauder?

The Marauder 2 roughly doubles the peak output and adds the dual-lens flood/spot switch, so it is more versatile. It is also heavier and more expensive.

How long does the battery last?

Runtime depends on the level; expect minutes at the 14,000-lumen maximum and many hours at low settings. The 21700 pack recharges in the light and can charge a phone in a pinch.

Can I use a standard 21700 battery?

No. The Marauder 2 uses a proprietary battery pack, so replacements must come from Olight.

Typically the light, the rechargeable battery pack, a charging cable and a lanyard or holster; confirm the contents with the seller, since bundles vary.

Olight's own sales events and holiday promotions are the usual low points. As of November 5, 2026, the $299.99 eBay price is at the high end of its recent range.

Our take on the Olight Marauder 2

The Olight Marauder 2 is a high-output handheld flashlight rated at 14,000 lumens, powered by a 21700 battery pack in an alloy body that weighs about 1.66 lb. Its defining feature is a dual-lens head that switches between a wide flood beam and a focused throw beam, so one light covers close work and long-distance spotting. The best new price is $299.99 at eBay as of November 5, 2026, with two stores listing it new. That sits at the top of the Marauder 2's recent range, so it is not a discount moment.
