Is the OluKai Paniolo worth $99.95?

If you want a leather flip-flop that looks dressier than rubber and lasts more than a season, yes. At $99.95 at Shoebacca as of November 7, 2026, it sits at the lower end of its usual new-price range.

How does the Paniolo fit compared with other OluKai sandals?

It generally fits true to size, but some wearers with wider feet go up a half size. The thong strap is leather-lined and softens with wear.

Can I wear the Paniolo in water or at the beach?

It is not a water shoe. The leather footbed gets slippery when wet and leather needs care, so keep it for dry everyday wear.

What is the difference between the Paniolo and OluKai's rubber flip-flops?

The Paniolo uses a leather upper and leather footbed over an EVA midsole, so it looks dressier and molds to the foot. Rubber models are lighter and better for water.

When is the Paniolo cheapest?

Leather sandals like this usually drop during end-of-season sales and around major holiday events. The current best new price is $99.95 at Shoebacca as of November 7, 2026.
