Our take on the Ophelia & Co. Jadence Washable Oriental Rug

The Jadence is a machine-made polyester area rug in a Persian-inspired oriental pattern with deliberate distressing for a vintage look. At 79 by 108 inches (about 6.5 by 9 feet) it suits a living room or dining space, and its 0.25-inch flat pile clears low doors and vacuums easily. It is machine washable and has a dotted plastic backing to keep it from bunching. The latest best price is $53.99, the low end of its recent $53.99 to $77.99 range.

Questions and answers

Is the Jadence rug worth it?
For a washable, low-pile rug in a high-traffic room, yes. It is inexpensive, sheds little and vacuums easily. Expect a thin, flat feel rather than plush comfort.
How big is the 79 by 108 inch size?
It is about 6.5 by 9 feet, a common living room or dining room size. Check your furniture footprint, since it is smaller than a full 8 by 10.
Can it go on floor heating?
Yes, the rug is listed as floor heating safe. Its low pile and plastic backing suit heated floors.
How do you wash it?
It is machine washable, but use a large-capacity machine and a gentle cycle, then air dry. Follow the care label, since a heavy wet rug can strain a small washer.
Does it work in homes with pets?
It is listed as pet friendly and no-shedding, and the low pile traps less debris. The washable build helps with accidents.
When is it cheapest?
Its recent low was $53.99 on November 2, 2026, against a high of $77.99 on October 30, 2026. Watch for drops toward that low before buying.
Is the Ophelia & Co. Jadence Washable Oriental Rug at its lowest price?
The lowest price we've seen is $53.99 at Wayfair on November 2.
