Our take on the Ophelia & Co. Whipkey 62'' Traditional Floor Lamp

The Ophelia & Co. Whipkey is a 62-inch traditional floor lamp with a white-wash resin body and a 100% linen shade. Its carved-look resin frame gives it the look of an antique piece without the antique price. At $96.99 at Wayfair as of November 3, 2026, it is the only new price on record and sits at the low end of its short price history.

Questions and answers

Is the Whipkey floor lamp worth it?
At $96.99 it is a reasonable buy for a traditional look on a budget. Expect a lightweight resin frame rather than solid wood.
How tall is it, and will it fit behind a sofa?
It stands 62 inches tall with an 18-inch-wide shade. That clears most sofa backs and works well in a corner or beside a reading chair.
What bulb does it take?
It uses a standard medium-base bulb in a single socket. A warm LED around 2700K suits the linen shade; check the socket rating before going above 100W equivalent.
Is the resin frame sturdy?
It is stable on flat floors but light enough to tip if bumped hard. Keep it out of walkways and away from pets and kids.
What is in the box?
The lamp ships as a base, pole, harp, shade and hardware for assembly. The bulb is not included.
When is it cheapest?
The lowest recorded price is $96.99, set on November 1, 2026, and it has not moved since. With only one new listing, watch for Wayfair open-box offers for less.
Where is the Ophelia & Co. Whipkey 62'' Traditional Floor Lamp cheapest?
