Our take on the Mercer41 Chameli 66" Tripod Floor Lamp

The Mercer41 Chameli is a 66-inch tripod floor lamp in gold and brass-finished metal, with a 25-inch footprint from its three splayed legs. The open tripod base and slim metal body give it a mid-century look that suits living rooms and bedrooms. It is a decorative accent lamp rather than a task light, so plan on a shade and bulb that fit your room. Its only recorded daily price is $133.99, so there is no recent range to compare against yet.

Best forRenters and apartment dwellers wanting a statement floor lampMid-century and modern living roomsBedrooms needing soft ambient lightBuyers who want a metal tripod look without a designer price
Pros
  • Tall 66-inch height fills a corner or frames a sofa
  • Tripod base is stable and needs no wall anchoring
  • Gold and brass finish reads warm against most palettes
  • Open frame keeps a small room from feeling crowded
  • Simple assembly compared with multi-arm arc lamps
Cons
  • No shade or bulb included in the listed specs, so add both to the cost
  • Metal tripod legs can scratch hard floors without felt pads
  • Bare-bulb glare if used without a shade
  • 25-inch leg spread needs floor space and a nearby outlet
  • All-metal build is heavier to move than a fabric-shade lamp

Questions and answers

Is the Chameli tripod lamp worth it?
At $133.99 it is a reasonable price for a 66-inch metal tripod lamp, and 4.7 out of 5 from 870 ratings backs that up. It makes sense if you want the look; skip it if you need bright task lighting.
Does it come with a lampshade and bulb?
The listed specs cover only the metal lamp, with no shade or bulb mentioned. Budget for a shade with a standard fitter and a bulb before you order.
How big is the footprint?
The legs spread 25 inches wide and 25 inches deep, and the lamp stands 66 inches tall. Check that spread against the corner or sofa side where you plan to put it.
What bulb does it take?
The specs do not state a socket type, so confirm the bulb base and wattage limit on the listing before buying. A warm LED in the 2700K to 3000K range suits the brass finish.
Is it stable with kids or pets around?
The three metal legs give it a wide, stable base, but a tall lamp can still be knocked over. Keep it out of main walkways and away from climbing pets.
When is the price lowest?
The only recorded daily price is $133.99, on November 1, 2026. Watch it around Black Friday and Wayfair's seasonal sales, when floor lamps usually drop.
