Questions and answers

Is the Opux lunch box worth it?
At $14.99 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it is a low-cost way to carry a full day of food. Expect basic insulation and budget construction rather than premium durability.
How much food does it hold?
Opux rates it at about 14 cans. In practice that means a main container, a couple of snacks and a drink, with the front and side pockets for small items.
Does it keep food cold all day?
The thermal lining keeps food hot or cold for several hours, especially with an ice pack. It is not a hard cooler and will not hold ice for a full day in heat.
Can I wash it in the machine?
No. Opux says to spot clean or wipe the PEVA lining and polyester shell. Machine washing can damage the insulation and shape.
What comes in the box?
The lunch box and a detachable shoulder strap. Containers and ice packs are not included.
When is it cheapest?
Soft lunch bags usually drop around back-to-school season and holiday sales. The current $14.99 at eBay is already near the bottom of its recent range.
