Questions and answers

Is ORIJEN Original worth the premium price?
It is considered a super-premium food because it uses fresh animal ingredients rather than meat meals as primary protein sources. Many owners find the higher cost is offset by feeding smaller portions due to the high calorie density.
How does this compare to ACANA?
Both are made by Champion Petfoods, but ORIJEN has higher protein (38% vs 29-33%) and more fresh meat (85% vs 50-75%). ORIJEN is the more nutrient-dense, premium option of the two.
Does this food contain any peas or legumes?
Yes, as a grain-free food, it uses whole red lentils, whole pinto beans, and whole green peas to provide fiber and structure to the kibble.
Is this bag size suitable for a large breed dog?
The 23.5 lb bag will last a 70 lb active dog approximately 3 to 4 weeks. It is formulated for all breed sizes, providing the necessary minerals for both small and large dogs.
When is this product usually at its cheapest?
Prices for ORIJEN are strictly controlled, but the best deals usually appear during subscription discounts or major pet retailer sales events in November.
What do buyers say about the ORIJEN Original Recipe Grain Free High Protein Dry Dog Food, 23.5 lbs?
