Questions and answers

Is the ORORO heated down jacket worth it?
Yes if you spend long stretches in cold outdoor conditions and want heat on demand. At $99 it undercuts most heated down jackets, which often run $150 or more.
How long does the battery last?
Runtime depends on the heat setting; expect a few hours on high and most of a day on low. Carry a spare 7.4V battery for full-day use.
Can I wash it?
Yes, machine wash cold. Remove the battery and disconnect the heating cable first, then air dry or tumble on low.
Does it run true to size?
It has a regular fit, so order your usual size. Size up if you plan to layer a sweater underneath.
Is it waterproof?
No, it is water-resistant, not waterproof. It handles light rain and snow, but heavy rain will soak through the shell.
