Our take on the Ovente 3.5-Quart Electric Stand Mixer

The Ovente 3.5-Quart Electric Stand Mixer is a compact tilt-head stand mixer with a 250-watt motor and 5 speeds plus a variable-speed control. The 3.5-quart bowl suits small batches: a single cake, cookie dough for two, whipped cream or frosting. It is far lighter and cheaper than full-size KitchenAid-style mixers, and its best new price is $39.99 at Home Depot as of November 3, 2026, the low end of what it has sold for recently.

Questions and answers

Is the Ovente 3.5-quart stand mixer worth it?
For light baking at $39.99 at Home Depot as of November 3, 2026, yes. It creams butter, mixes cake batter and whips cream. If you bake bread or double batches often, spend more on a stronger mixer.
Can it knead bread dough?
Only small, soft doughs. The 250-watt motor and 3.5-quart bowl are not built for stiff bread dough, and running it that way risks overheating.
How does it compare with a KitchenAid stand mixer?
It is much cheaper and smaller, but weaker. A KitchenAid has a larger bowl, a stronger motor and a wide attachment ecosystem. The Ovente is for occasional small batches, not heavy or frequent mixing.
What comes in the box?
The mixer, a 3.5-quart bowl, and typically a set of beaters and dough hooks. Check the listing for the exact attachments included before buying.
When is it cheapest?
Its best new price was $39.99 at Home Depot as of November 3, 2026. Budget mixers like this usually dip during Black Friday and holiday sales.
Where is the Ovente 3.5-Quart Electric Stand Mixer cheapest?
At Home Depot, for $39.99, 47% under what the other stores charge, as of our latest check.
Where can I buy the Ovente 3.5-Quart Electric Stand Mixer?
5 stores we checked sell it, including Home Depot, Wayfair, eBay, Belk, Sears.
