Questions and answers

Is the Ovente GD1610LBL griddle worth it at $24.99?
At $24.99 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it is a low-cost way to add a large cooking surface. Expect basic heating control and a coating that will not last forever at this price.
How big is the cooking surface?
The plate is 16 x 10 inches, which fits about six to eight pancakes or four to six eggs at once. It suits a family of four better than a crowd.
Can I put the griddle plate in the dishwasher?
No. The plate is fixed to the base, so wipe it with a damp cloth or sponge after it cools. The grease trap can be removed and washed separately.
Does it have a temperature dial in degrees?
No. It has five numbered settings rather than a degree dial, so you adjust by feel and by watching the food.
What comes in the box?
The griddle, its removable grease trap and a user manual. Check the listing for the power cord length if counter space is tight.
When is the price lowest?
Small kitchen appliances like this often dip during back-to-school and holiday sales. Compare the eBay price against the other store before buying.
