Are these good for kids?

Yes, at 0.41 lb they are light enough for small hands, and the included strap helps. The 9 mm eye relief is short, so children should press close to the eyecups.

Can I use them with glasses?

Only with difficulty. The 9 mm eye relief is short, so glasses wearers lose field of view unless they push the eyecups right against the lenses.

How do they do at night or in a stadium?

Poorly in dim light. The 3 mm exit pupil and 25 mm lenses gather little light, so they suit daylight and well-lit events, not dusk or night sky viewing.

What comes in the box?

The binoculars, a neck strap, a carry case and a cleaning cloth.

Are they worth it over a larger 10x42?

Only if size matters most. A 10x42 is far brighter and easier to hold steady, but it weighs several times more and will not fit in a pocket.

When is the price lowest?

The best price seen is $19.98 at Walmart as of November 3, near the bottom of its recent $18 to $30 range. Watch for markdowns around hunting and holiday seasons.

Our take on the Ozark Trail 10X25 Pocket Binoculars for Kids and Adults

The Ozark Trail 10x25 Pocket Binoculars are a compact roof-prism pair with 10x magnification, 25 mm fully multi-coated lenses and an aluminum alloy body that weighs 0.41 lb. They fold down to about 1.26 in tall and come with a neck strap, carry case and cleaning cloth. The small 25 mm objective and 3 mm exit pupil limit brightness in dim light, and the 9 mm eye relief is short for glasses wearers. The latest best price is $19.98 at Walmart as of November 3, near the low end of its recent range of roughly $18 to $30.
