Is the Ozark Trail Multiforce 18-in-1 worth it?

At $46.97 at Walmart as of November 3, 2026, it is a low-cost way to get pliers, blades, a saw and drivers in one tool. It makes sense if you want a pack or car tool and do not need premium-brand fit and finish.

How does it compare with a Leatherman or Gerber?

It offers a similar pliers-based layout for less money, but it weighs 9.8 oz and its tools are less refined than those on name-brand multi-tools. Choose it for value and occasional use, not daily hard work.

How big and heavy is it?

It measures 11 in long, 2 in wide and 1 in high and weighs 9.8 oz. That is too large for most pockets, so plan on the included pouch or a pack.

What comes in the box?

The multi-tool and a carrying pouch with a snap closure. No bit set or extra accessories are listed.

Can I carry it on a belt?

Yes. The included pouch has a snap closure and is made to hang on a belt, which suits camping and work use.

When is the best time to buy it?

Only one store lists it new, so there is little price competition. Watch for Walmart rollbacks and seasonal outdoor sales rather than expecting frequent discounts.
