Is the G9 II worth it over the original G9?

Yes, if autofocus matters to you. The G9 II adds phase-detect AF, a higher-resolution 25.2MP sensor and ProRes video, which the original G9 lacks.

Does it come with a lens?

This listing is the 12-60mm f/3.5-5.6 kit, so the zoom is included. Body-only versions exist and cost less.

It records 4K in MOV, MP4 and ProRes, with high-speed and time-lapse modes. That covers most hybrid work, though the small sensor limits low-light video.

Any Micro Four Thirds lens. The 12-60mm covers a 24-120mm full-frame equivalent range, and telephoto zooms like the 14-140mm reach 280mm equivalent.
