Is this topper good for down allergies?

Yes. The fill is microfiber, not down or feathers, and Parachute labels it hypoallergenic. The cotton cover is also a natural fiber rather than a synthetic shell.

Will it fit a deep mattress?

Parachute says it accommodates mattresses up to 18 inches deep. Measure your mattress before ordering, especially if you use a thick mattress pad on top.

The cover is machine washable and can be tumble dried, and Parachute also lists dry cleaning as an option. Follow the care label, and use a low heat setting to protect the fill.

How does it compare with a down topper?

It gives a similar soft, cushioned feel without feathers, and it costs less than most real-down toppers. Microfiber traps more heat, so hot sleepers may prefer down or a wool topper.

Is $260 a good price?

Only one store lists it new at $260 as of November 6, 2026, so there is no lower competing price to compare against. Watch for seasonal bedding sales at that store if you are not in a hurry.
