Our take on the Paramount Pictures Wonder Showzen: The Complete Series DVD

Wonder Showzen: The Complete Series collects every episode of the MTV2 cult sketch show that mixed kids' TV parody with dark, adult satire. The box set is a niche item, so availability is thin. The best new price is $23.86 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, and only two stores list it new, so it rarely drops much below that.

Pros
  • Complete run in a single box set
  • Puppet and animation segments hold up as a time capsule of mid-2000s cable comedy
  • Cheap for a full series at under $25
  • Hard-to-find title, so owning a copy has collector appeal
Cons
  • Very limited new stock; only two stores list it
  • Content is deliberately offensive and not for general audiences
  • DVD-only, with no Blu-ray or streaming equivalent in the box
  • Extras and packaging vary by pressing

What reviewers say

Reception is split along the show's own lines: fans call it one of the boldest, funniest things MTV2 ever aired, while others find the shock humor tiresome. Buyers of the set mainly value having the full series in one place.

Pros
  • Memorable recurring characters and songs
  • Sharp satire of children's television
  • Full-series convenience
Cons
  • Humor feels dated to some viewers
  • Repetitive shock gags
  • No notable new extras

How many episodes are in the box set?
The set covers the show's full MTV2 run across its two seasons. Check the listing's disc count, since pressings differ.
Is it region-locked?
