Is Peak Dry Whole Milk worth buying?

It is a solid choice if you want full-cream milk powder with a long shelf life and added vitamins. Compare the 900 g price per gram against the 2500 g tin, which is usually cheaper per gram.

How do I mix Peak milk powder?

Mix the powder with warm water according to the ratio on the tin, then stir until dissolved. Add more powder for a richer drink, or use it dry in baking and custard.

How does the 900 g tin compare with the 2500 g pack?

The 900 g tin suits smaller households or occasional use and stays fresher once opened. The 2500 g pack costs less per gram but takes longer to finish.

Does Peak Dry Whole Milk contain added vitamins?

Yes. The label lists added vitamins A, C and D3 along with calcium, at about 753 µg vitamin A, 88 mg vitamin C and 9 µg vitamin D3 per 100 g.

Is it suitable for children?

It is a whole milk powder for general household use, not an infant formula. Do not use it as a breast-milk substitute for babies under 12 months.

When is the best time to buy it?

Prices for milk powder move with dairy costs and promotions. Check the price history on this page and buy when the 900 g tin is near its recent low.
