Questions and answers

Is this rug actually machine washable at 8' x 10'?
The listing says washable, but a rug this size usually will not fit a standard home washer. Plan on spot cleaning or a commercial laundromat machine, and check the care label before washing.
Will it stay flat on hardwood or tile?
It has a non-slip backing, so it should grip hard floors better than a rug without one. Give it a few days to flatten after unrolling, and use a pad if you have heavy foot traffic.
Does the memory foam make it comfortable?
The foam layer adds cushioning, so it feels softer than a flat-weave rug. Expect the foam to compress over time in the spots people walk on most.
Is it good for homes with pets?
The soft pile is comfortable for pets, but shag traps hair and is harder to vacuum clean. The washable claim helps, but deep cleaning a rug this size takes effort.
What sizes and colors does it come in?
This listing is the 8' x 10' rectangular version with a geometric pattern. Check the other size and color options on the product page before ordering.
When is the best time to buy it?
Rugs like this often drop during seasonal home sales and major shopping events. Set a price alert and compare against its recent price history before buying.
What do buyers say about the Pentantan Shag Area Rug 8ft?
